This article covers all the settings available under Inboxes->Voicemail Settings
Notification Settings
- Notify On Desk Phones: Enabling this feature will provide a notification to the desk phone about any missed calls or voicemails.
- Disable Transcriptions Service: Enabling this feature stops voicemails being transcribed and sent to your email.
- Notification Email: Select from one of the three options what notifications you wish to receive upon receiving a voicemail:
-No Email
-Email With Text Only
-Email With Text and Audio Attachments - Audio File Format: You can select between MP3 and WAV format.
MP3: smaller file size, file compression, good quality
WAV: larger file size, excellent quality - User PIN Required: Enabling this feature forces users to use their PIN (PIN number found at Settings->Users->Voice) when they access their voicemail from their desk phone, but not the AvidBit app.
Greetings Settings
- Greeting Prompt: This is the message that will be played to users upon reaching the voicemail of the inbox. You can select a file for one greeting, or a file schedule if you would like greetings to play based on certain rules. Learn more here.
- Text To Speech Greeting Prompt: This is the message that will be played to users upon reaching the voicemail of the inbox. You only need to fill this field out if you do not select any files from the ‘Greeting Prompt’ selection field. Click the play button next to the input field to cache the file before pressing Save.
- Voicemail Box Name Prompt: If you do not have any greeting prompt, the default message that a user will hear upon reaching an inbox will be, “You have reached the voicemail box of” (Name of inbox) “Please leave a message after the tone.” This prompt will replace (Name of inbox). Select the file that you would like to use here.
- Text To Speech Name Prompt: Same as above, but this is where you would type in the text to replace (Name of inbox) as seen above. Click the play button next to the input field to cache the file before pressing Save.
Advanced Settings
- Enable Find Me / Follow Me: Upon toggling on, you select a digit. When a caller presses that digit when they reach a voicemail box, it will call all of the devices that are enabled for FM/FM on the OWNER of the inbox.
- Interrupt Button: These buttons give the option to a user who has reached your inbox to be directed to another callflow. This references which digit the user would press to activate the associated Call Flow.
- Interrupt Call Flow: This is where you would select a previously created Call Flow you would want the user to get sent to upon pressing an Interrupt Button. This would work by listing out the available options to the user within your voicemail message, and upon their input, it will be redirected to another callflow such as a ring group, or a callflow that goes to a cell phone.
