How do I block a number?

Call blocking must be enabled before numbers can be blocked. This is found at Settings -> Account -> Locations -> Spam/Blocking. If you receive a 403 error, you do not have the necessary permissions to access the location settings. Contact your office administration, or contact our support team to gain access.

From the Communicator

The user must have the ‘Block Numbers’ permissions found under Billing for this option to be available.

1. Click on the vertical ellipses next to your outbound caller ID phone number drop down menu.
2. Select the conversation of the person to block.
3. Select ‘Block Contact’.
4. On the new dialogue box, click OK once you have verified the phone number. This will add them to the “Blocked Numbers” list immediately.

Manual entry

1. Navigate to Settings -> Account -> Location -> Spam/Blocking.
2. On the “Blocked Numbers (If Call Blocking is Enabled” pane, click the blue +Add
3. Enter in the phone number and select Save.
4. This will immediately be added to the “Blocked Numbers” list.
